Terms and Conditions

Terms & Conditions

These terms and conditions apply to Cabaret kids/Centre Stage Theatre courses given to students, applied for and consented to by the parent or guardian (referred to hereinafter as “student”). Changes to these terms and conditions require the written consent of Cabaret kids/Centre Stage.

Course times and fees are given in the “Flyer for camp or fall program flyer”or on line,for each course. An application will only be deemed to have been accepted if accompanied by the payment of the required deposit. A spot will be held for 1 week once your form is sent on line or through the mail but a payment for the program must be sent within that 1 week period. Receipt of the application and any deposit or fees paid at the time of application will be confirmed in writing or e-mail, along with all relevant course details and acceptance of any student is not confirmed until that letter has been issued.

Methods of Payment:

Cheque or Cash

Courses take place once a week during the normal academic terms. A calendar with holidays etc… will be sent out to each student by e-mail marking important dates we are closed vacation etc… dates of the shows. It is the responsibility of the parent to make sure that the student attends all dress rehearsals and show dates. These dates are given out at the beginning of the year and the student must attend.

Written confirmation from Cabaret kids/ Centre Stage of an application confirming that a student has been allocated a place establishes a contract for the provision of teaching services.

Cancellation:

Cabaret Kids Camp-

Any cancellation before April 1st will be refunded minus the registration fee of$60.00. After April 1st there will be no refunds, however you can change your weeks at any time as long as space is available for your desired weeks.

Special cases may arise where you cannot attend your registered weeks such as sickness (where a child needs to be hospitalized) we will try to accommodate you by changing your weeks etc…or by allowing the student to come to camp the following year.

Should you decide to take your child out of Cabaret Kids  NO refunds will be received.

Fall courses:(Centre Stage Theatre, Glee, X Program and Private Vocal)
Where a student is attending any course for the first time the contract can be terminated no later than 3 classes. Any fees paid, over and above the deposit amount, plus the payment of the 3 classes will be refunded. Termination will only be accepted when received by Centre Stage in writing.

Thereafter, the contract automatically continues for the consecutive term unless it is terminated before the end of the three weeks. In that case the contract will expire on the last day of the current term. Termination will only be accepted when received by Cabaret kids/CentreStage in writing.

Centre Stage /Cabaret Kids reserves the right to exclude students from lessons at its discretion.
Centre Stage /Cabaret kids reserves the right to make changes to the timetable and to the teaching staff.
Fees are reviewed annually in August.
Students participate at their own risk and are obliged to inform Centre Stage /Cabaret Kids and its staff of any existing injuries or medical condition.
Students are obliged to take care of their own belongings.

Centre Stage /Cabaret Kids can accept no liability for lost or damaged belongings.
The liability of Centre Stage/Cabaret Kids and that of its staff is restricted to class time only and then only to gross negligence.
